“Love At Second Sight” was a powerful love song that David Foster composed in the early eighties with the help of renowned lyricist, Paul Gordon. Gordon’s lyrics embellished other Foster melodies including James Ingram’s “Whatever We Imagine” and Olivia Newton-John’s “Shaking You.” Gordon scored a few hits on the charts; the most notable being “Next Time I Fall,” co-written with Bobby Caldwell and a 1986 #1 hit for Peter Cetera and Amy Grant.

All those records became hits for the legendary music producer and his dream team of songwriters, arrangers and musicians that included the Toto guys, the late Rod Temperton (1949-2016), Jerry Hey and David Foster.
