written by Don Dubose & Joseph Richards

“Nobody Knows” is a wonderful ballad that was released by r&b singer Tony Rich on his 1996 debut album “Words.” This song became a worldwide pop/r&b hit and sold over one million copies in the US alone. Later that year, “Nobody Knows” also triumphed on the country charts by reaching #1 for four weeks with a beautiful cover by the late, talented singer Kevin Sharp. “Nobody Knows” belongs to the elite of catchy songs that were recorded for a specific music genre yet crossed over with great success to another music style with perfectly crafted renditions by different singers.

Fast forward to a couple of years ago. Foster approached the legendary rocker with a project he thought would be perfect for his friend. The idea was to record a bunch of covers of hits from the sixties and the seventies, songs that Adams loved back in his teenage years.
