Tony Borowiak, Jamie Jones, Delious Kennedy and Alfred Navarez comprise the hit vocal group All-4-One. Their self-titled debut cd was an out of the box success with platinum plus sales and a giant David Foster produced hit, “I Swear.” It won the 1994 Grammy Award for “Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal” and enjoyed an eleven-week run at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
“And The Music Speaks” was their 1995 follow-up album. This go around the group decided to again collaborate with Foster for the debut single “I Can Love You Like That.” As with “I Swear,” this new collaboration was an ear candy cover of a John Michael Montgomery #1 country hit. The smart concept was another huge success for the group that scored big on the pop/adult contemporary singles charts and was also Grammy nominated for “Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal” and “Song Of The Year.” “I Can Love You Like That” has an elegant, pop arrangement that is perfect for mainstream radio with the four singers trading sweet, romantic lines under Foster’s expert guidance. “And The Music Speaks” was a good collection of love songs with some funkier moments all based on the group’s impeccable vocal harmonies. It was certified platinum and kept the momentum going for the group.
Foster and All-4-One reunited again in 1999 for a final collaboration on “I Will Be Right Here,” a ballad included on their album “On & On.”
