The 1977 hit album “Foot Loose & Fancy Free” was another winner in Rod Stewart’s long history of successes. Released on Riva Records, this multi-platinum album was produced by the extraordinary Tom Dowd. Dowd was responsible for Stewart’s 1976 “A Night on the Town” as well as legendary recordings by the likes of Aretha Franklin, The Allman Brothers Band and Eric Clapton.
