Yacht On The Rocks is the new release by the American acappella combo, Straight No Chaser. In the past fifteen years, this renowned vocal group has built a solid reputation. They have a string of albums of tasteful acappella covers of various pop, rock and soul evergreens. They have also released four successful Christmas cds with a couple of those eventually certified gold in the US with sales over 500,000 copies. Through the years, Straight No Chaser has generated great appeal with very entertaining live performances.

Quest For Camelot was an animated musical film released in 1998 by Warner Brothers Feature Animation. The songs for the project were all co-written by David Foster and supreme lyricist Carole Bayer Sager. The most famous song featured on this project was “The Prayer,” sung by global superstars Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion. This powerful anthem was nominated for an Academy Award and eventually became a modern standard performed by hundreds of singers worldwide.

“If You Don’t Know Me By Now” is a classic R&B slow jam co-written by noted songwriters and “Philly Sound” hit-makers  Kenneth Gamble and Leon Huff. It seemed like the song was originally written for the powerful R&B trio, Labelle. Actually, it was eventually recorded by soul act Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes.

Born in Houston TX in 1968, Chris Walker is a singer, musician and producer. This gifted music-maker spent more than twenty years on the road with the exceptional Al Jarreau (1940-2017) as musicial director, bass player and backing vocalist. Starting in the early Nineties, Walker released a string of good solo albums in the R&B vein. He charts with a few songs on the R&B singles chart including the 1992 multi-format hit, “Take Time,” that reached #29 on Billboard’s Hot 100, #6 on the R&B chart and #17 on Adult Contemporary.
