“Because You Loved Me” was the debut single off Celine Dion’s 1996 multi-platinum album, “Falling Into You.” This nostalgic ballad was featured in the blockbuster movie “Up Close And Personal” starring Robert Redford and Michelle Pfeiffer. Written by hit-maker Diane Warren, “Because You Loved Me” was perfectly produced by David Foster.

HURRICANE

“Hurricane” was the title track from Eric Benet’s 2005 album. For that record, Benet worked extensively with David Foster who co-wrote and produced some of the material including “Hurricane.” In 2007, Dutch jazz singer Alex Ryon released his self-titled debut album that included a wonderful cover of “Hurricane.”

Bill Champlin’s solo works have always been packed with great music. His 1982 single, “Sara,” off his “Runaway” album is a sweet ballad that was perfectly suited for Pop/Adult Contemporary radios. “Sara” was co-written by Champlin with actor/TV host/singer Alan Thicke and perfectly produced by David Foster.
