The now classic Chicago 16 was released in June 1982. Produced by David Foster, Chicago 16  brought the band back to the top of the charts. The main ingredient for this comeback story was the worldwide hit “Hard To Say I’m Sorry,” co-written by Peter Cetera and Foster and already reviewed on the website.

SUMMER OF OUR LOVE

from RUDE AWAKENING
Written by Bruce Miller

Around the mid-seventies, Canadian singer/songwriter Bruce Miller released a few country/rock singles as well as Rude Awakening, an album on A&M Records. The album was co-produced by the late Canadian songwriter/guitarist Gaye De Lorme (1947-2011) and David Foster, who was just starting his career as a session man in Los Angeles. As a matter of fact, Foster was responsible for De Lorme’s move to L.A. when Foster offered De Lorme to become Skylark’s new guitar player.
