Siedah Garrett, a protégé of Quincy Jones, rose to fame in the second half of the eighties singing a couple of hit duets, one with Michael Jackson on “I Just Can’t Stop Loving You” and the second with Dennis Edwards on ”Don’t Look Any Further.” She also co-wrote with Glen Ballard the mega-hit “Man In The Mirror” for Michael Jackson’s “Bad” as well as songs for big names like Aretha Franklin, Natalie Cole and Paula Abdul.
