CAN’T HIDE LOVE

from FRIENDS IN LOVE
Written by Skip Scarborough

Between the second half of the seventies and the first half of the eighties, David Foster and Jay Graydon created some of the most sophisticated pop music ever recorded. Their stunning melodies delivered with jazz-infused harmonies and unusual chord changes pleased the ears of music lovers on treasured albums by the late Al Jarreau, Bill Champlin, Boz Scaggs, Manhattan Transfer, Chicago, Hall & Oates, Marc Jordan and many more.

HAVE YOURSELF A MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS

from A MARY CHRISTMAS
Written by Ralph Blane & Hugh Martin

David Foster previously crafted seasonal top sellers for Josh Groban, Michael Bublè, Andrea Bocelli and Rod Stewart, just to name a few. In the fall of 2013, Foster added another jewel to that impressive list by producing A Mary Christmas for R&B superstar Mary J. Blige. Like its predecessors, A Mary Christmas immediately jumped to the top of the holiday charts. It reached #10 on Billboard’s Top 200, #5 on the R&B chart and was eventually certified gold.

SOMETHING TO SHOUT ABOUT

from AN INTIMATE EVENING
Written by David Foster Lyrics by Susan Birkenhead

In his live performances or in the studio, David Foster always surrounds himself with the best vocal talents around. Often, we are talking about global stars like Andrea Bocelli or Michael Bublè, but sometimes Foster finds the best up ’n’ coming names. This is the case with the Hitman’s newly released project, An Intimate Evening. This latest live cd aired on PBS as part of its “Great Performances” TV series.
