TOO YOUNG

From ALL I NEED
Written by David Foster, Jay Graydon, Steve Kipner & Donny Osmond

Here’s another gem that Foster and Graydon co-wrote in the eighties, this time around with the help of Steve Kipner and singer/actor Donny Osmond.

EVEN A FOOL CAN SEE

From WORLD FALLING DOWN
Written by Peter Cetera & Mark Goldenberg

Writing our Chicago’s reviews we’ve already mentioned how perfect has always been the mix of Peter Cetera’s unique tenor voice with David Foster’s sweet melodies and clever arrangements, how well they always clicked co-writing evergreens like “Hard To Say I’m Sorry”, “You’re The Inspiration” and “The Glory Of Love”.

FRIENDS IN LOVE

From FRIENDS IN LOVE
Written by David Foster, Jay Graydon & Bill Champlin

The fact that this record didn’t sell a million copies and reach the top of the charts is a true musical crime cause we’re talking about some of the classiest and most elegant music ever created. Here every note is perfectly played, everything is so well arranged, an incredible examples of quality pop at his absolute best.

TILL YOU TAKE MY LOVE

From FUNK IN MASON JAR
Written by David Foster & Harvey Mason

David Foster has written and produced many funky/r&b anthems during the seventies, fantastic dance records like Cheryl Lynn’s “Got To Be Real”, Earth, Wind & Fire’s “In The Stone” and “Let Your Feeling Show”, Deniece Williams’ “I’ve Got The Next Dance”, The Brothers Johnson’s “Blam”… not too bad for the so-called “King Of Ballads”, huh? Another one of these dance numbers is a thing he co-wrote, in 1977, with Harvey Mason for the drummer’s “Funk In A Mason Jar” album.
