Robbie Buchanan’s fender rhodes opens the show in the best Foster tradition soon joined by Marc Jordan’s tender vocal performance singing some of the best lyrics a love song has ever had. Add to the picture a warm sax solo courtesy of the ultra talented Ernie Watts and the silky sounds of Richard Page and Steve George’s backing vocals and the result is pure musical heaven. I highly recommend all to find a copy of this record – “A Hole In The Wall” – one of the best ever in the so called “westcoast tradition”.
